Family members of individuals with disabilities can get affected because of adjustments required to be made for the depression developing in the family of an individual with disability. The depression of the individual will always be passed to the members of the family (Hazarika & Choudhury, 2020). There will be sympathy developing within the psyches of the family members because of not being able to look at the individual with disability as they used to look at the individual before the development of the disability. If the disability is from childhood, there will be development of depression within the family (Giesbers et al. 2020). Anger management can also be a major issue in case of communicating with individuals with disabilities (Giesbers et al. 2020).
